On April 19, Oviyun announced China's color TV market in the first quarter of 2024, with sales of 7.06 million units, down 5.3% from the same period last year. Under the influence of the high fluctuation of the upstream panel price and the continuation of the upgrading trend of the color TV industry structure, the sales volume of the color TV market in the first quarter was 25.5 billion yuan, an increase of 12.6% over the same period last year.

The sales share of China's high-end color TV market (10,000 yuan and above) was 22% in the first quarter of 2024, an increase of 2 percentage points over the whole of the previous year. Driven by many factors, such as the rapid development of Internet technology and the development and innovation of e-commerce, the online market has gradually occupied a dominant position in the color TV industry, with 57% of the market share of color wires in the first quarter of 2024 and 43% of offline market sales.

In terms of size, 75-inch products grew the fastest, with a sales share of 21.0%, an increase of 5.2 percentage points over the same period last year, while 85-inch products ranked second with a 3.6% growth rate, with a 7.4% share. In the super-large screen market, the sales share of 98-inch and 100-inch products are almost the same, and 100-inch products are growing faster.

In the technology market segment, OLED, laser and 8K display technology have entered a steady development stage, and the Mini LED market continues to develop. In the first quarter of 2024, the sales share of China's color TV Mini LED market was 3.5%, an increase of 1.8% over the same period last year, and the share of sales reached 11.5%, an increase of 4.6% over the same period last year.
