On April 13th, Guangdong Communications Group announced that the deep and middle passageway of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area's key project had entered the stage of bridge load test. In this test, a total of 5000 tons of freight cars will be used to comprehensively test the Zhongshan Bridge, Lingdingyang Bridge and non-navigable approach bridges. The Shenzhen-Middle Channel is the world's leading cross-sea cluster project of "bridge, island, tunnel and underwater interconnection", with a total length of about 24 kilometers. At present, the relevant projects are stepping up construction and strive to reach the opening conditions in June. Upon completion of the project, the drive from Shenzhen to Zhongshan will be shortened from 2 hours to 30 minutes.

The construction of Shenzhen-Middle Corridor is of great significance to promote the economic development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area.
